IGHR will be hosting four evening sessions Monday – Wednesday, 24-26 July, from 7:00 until 8:15 pm. Evening sessions are included in tuition for IGHR course registrants and are open to the public for a small fee ($15). Sessions include "How to Use GALILEO and the UGA Libraries’ Resources" by Laura W. Carter, MEd, MLIS, SLIS (includes the many databases to which IGHR attendees will have access), "BCG Certification Seminar" by Judy G. Russell, JD, CG, CGL and Richard G. Sayre, CG, CGL, FUGA, and two talks by John Philip Colletta, PhD, "Why Great Grandpa Shaved Off His Mustache: Tales of Our Ancestors and the Weather" and "Private Archives: What They Are and How to Use Them." If you are not registered for an IGHR Course, you should register for the evening sessions you plan to attend. Deadline to register for the evening sessions is 17 July 2017 and to be guaranteed a handout. Cash and credit cards will be accepted at the door but you will not be guaranteed a handout.
For your convenience, IGHR is pleased to offer attendees and their guests in-house meal tickets for lunch and/or dinner. This will allow you time to enjoy your meal with fellow attendees and their guests in a private dining area before making the short walk to an evening session or back to class. To purchase meal tickets, follow the link or select Dining Options under IGHR 2017 in the menu above by midnight, 30 June 2017 if purchasing online.
Don't delay! Payment via check for IGHR courses and meal tickets must be postmarked no later than 21 June 2017. After June 21st, only PayPal and credit card payments will be accepted.
